On Earth Day 2026, we recognize the impact the changing climate has on people with allergies and asthma.

Changing climate has caused shifts in precipitation patterns, more frost-free days, warmer seasonal air temperatures, and more carbon dioxide in the atmosphere, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Consistent with data for our area, pollen seasons are getting longer and more intense.
