Zubowicz has firmly established his practice in the Atlanta Medical Community. In his long career of over twenty-five years, Vincent Zubowicz is one of the South's leaders in Plastic, Reconstructive, and Maxillofacial Surgery. Upon graduating Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Kansas in 1973 where he received a Bachelor of Arts, Dr. Zubowicz acquired his Medical Degree from the sa
me institution in 1976. An internship with Grady Hospital in Atlanta and Residency with Emory University Affiliated Hospitals helped establish his name and reputation in the Atlanta medical field. Additionally, he completed Graduate Laser training at both Harvard Medical School and Beth Israel Hospital in 1983. Dr. Zubowicz is Board Certified by the National Board of Medical Examiners, the American Board of Surgery, and the American Board of Plastic Surgery. As an accomplished writer and speaker, Dr. Zubowicz has been appointed to the Plastic Surgery Undergraduate Education committee and the Aesthetic Society and Plastic Surgery Educational Foundation-Joint Grants Research Committee. He serves as a Clinical Professor of Surgery at Emory University and as Past Director of the Cleft Lip and Cleft Palate Clinic at Childrens Health Care of Atlanta. Dr. Zubowicz is a member of many professional organizations such as The American College of Surgeons, The American Cleft Lip and Palate Association, The American Medical Association, The American Society of Head and Neck Surgeons, The American Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, The Georgia Society of Plastic Surgery, the Medical Association of Atlanta, The Pan Pacific Surgical Association, The Southeastern Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, The Southern Medical Association, the Medical Center of North Atlanta, and the Jurkiewicz Society. Dr. Zubowicz is currently on staff at five of the major hospitals in Atlanta. Northside Hospital, Atlanta Medical Center, Children's Health Care of Atlanta, and Saint Joseph's Hospital of Atlanta.
