Celebrating someone else’s win doesn’t delay your own.⁣

In fact, it’s one of the most powerful ways to show that you’re ready. That you’re grateful. That you’re not bitter or bound by scarcity.⁣

Love, success, and overflow are not limited resources and when you learn to genuinely clap for others, you tap into a flow that can’t be manufactured.⁣

Your hands weren’t made just to receive…… they are made to praise, to bless, to honor the beauty in others. When you withhold your praise out of pride or envy, you block your own blessings.⁣

So yes, celebrate her promotion. Cheer for his breakthrough. Applaud their testimony.⁣

It costs you nothing to be kind, but it returns everything in divine timing. God’s timing. ⁣

The ones who clap the loudest? They’re often next in line.⁣

Your phone isn’t just stealing your time it’s stealing your brain power.⁣

Studies now show that excessive phone use is linked to shrinking attention spans, impaired memory, and even early signs of cognitive decline. ⁣
One recent study from the University of Texas found that even having your phone nearby (not using it, just having it visible) reduces working memory and problem-solving ability.⁣

💡 Our brains are overstimulated and undernourished.⁣

The constant notifications, infinite scroll, and dopamine hits train the brain to expect distraction making it harder to focus, retain information, or even think creatively.⁣

And here’s the connection most people miss:⁣

🚨Cognitive health is a part of your overall wellness.⁣

🚨Your brain is often living in fight-or-flight. ⁣

🚨Brain fog, fatigue, emotional eating, and poor sleep are all connected to tech overuse.⁣

🚨Even your gut health is affected since your nervous system plays a huge role in digestion and hormone regulation.⁣

Here’s what we recommend at The Right Greens:⁣

🌱 Start your day off-screen. Hydrate, breathe, and nourish your mind before the world gets access to you.⁣

🌱 Add brain-loving ingredients to your juices like:⁣
– Green apple for natural energy⁣
– Spinach for folate and iron⁣
– Ginger to reduce inflammation⁣
– Blueberries (juices) for brain-protective antioxidants⁣

🌱 Build intentional screen breaks into your wellness routine just like you schedule your juice.⁣

👉🏽 Detoxing isn’t just about what you remove from your plate it’s about what you remove from your mind. Your brain deserves a cleanse too.⁣

Atlanta weather got me drinking hydration juice like I’m prepping for the Olympics. ⁣

One minute it’s full-blown sunshine, next thing you know it’s raining sideways with a rainbow on the left and a sun shower on the right… all while it’s still 97° outside. 🤔 ⁣

I stepped outside with my juice in hand and got hit with Vitamin D, humidity, and a spiritual awakening. ⁣

At this point, the weather’s detoxing me. But it’s cool, I stay ready with my juice, a towel, sunglasses, sandals, a hoodie, tennis shoes and an emotional support umbrella in the trunk 😩⁣

When it comes to buying fresh fruits and vegetables, there’s a world of difference between picking them up at your local grocery store versus buying directly from a farmers market. Farmers markets offer produce that is often harvested just hours before being sold, meaning it’s not only fresher but also more nutrient dense. ⁣

Grocery store produce, on the other hand, is typically harvested days…..sometimes weeks in advance and transported long distances, which can lead to nutrient loss and reduced flavor.⁣

Shopping at a farmers market also allows you to support local farmers and small-scale growers rather than large industrial agriculture. That means your money is circulating within your community and helping sustain the livelihoods of those who are truly passionate about what they grow. Not just that but when you buy local, you’re reducing the environmental impact that comes with the transportation, packaging, and storage of grocery store produce. It’s a small act that really leads to a big difference.⁣

Another benefit? You get to ask questions. ⁣

You can look the farmer in the eye and ask how the food was grown, what practices they use, and even get tips on how to prepare it. This level of transparency and connection simply doesn’t exist in most grocery store settings. And for families trying to eat clean, reduce pesticides, or eat seasonally, this is TOP TIER. ⁣

If you’re unsure where to find a farmers market near you, start by visiting www.localharvest.org/farmers-markets or research apps like “Farmers Market Finder.” ⁣
You can also search “farmers markets near me” on Google or even check your city’s Parks & Recreation website. ⁣
Markets often run seasonally or on specific days of the week, so doing a quick search before the weekend hits can help you plan your grocery haul in a way that supports your health and your community.⁣

Sometimes, the pain we’re in isn’t because of what God assigned it’s because of what we chose. ⁣

Let’s be honest: some of us took detours God never co-signed, and now we’re tired, confused, and calling it a “season” when it was actually disobedience. ⁣

He gave us discernment, but we gave ourselves permission to override it. And now we’re praying for peace in places He never meant for us to be.⁣

There’s a difference between divine pruning and self-inflicted chaos. What God wanted you to go through was meant to grow you. ⁣

What you chose to go through might’ve humbled you but at what cost? That relationship, that job, that decision… it looked good, felt good, sounded good, but God never said go. And now you’re carrying burdens you were never built to bear.⁣

But grace. Even when we veer off, God has a way of rerouting us. So if you find yourself in something you chose instead of what He called you to, don’t beat yourself up. Learn the lesson, leave what’s heavy, and walk boldly back into alignment. ⁣

His will > our wants. Every time. 💚⁣

Ever notice how the bright, cartoon covered snacks and sugar loaded cereals are always on the bottom shelves at the grocery store? That’s not by accident it’s strategy. These items are placed at 3ft. and below, perfectly positioned at a child’s eye level. It’s marketing genius on their end, but a silent setup for us as parents. Our little ones are drawn in by familiar characters and vibrant packaging, not realizing what’s inside could lead to a lifetime of unhealthy cravings and nutritional struggles.⁣

As guardians of our homes, we have to make intentional choices about what we allow through the front door. What starts as a colorful box in a shopping cart can quickly become a daily habit of consuming dyes, preservatives, and sugar. We’re not just feeding their bellies…..we’re shaping their taste buds and wellness foundation. ⁣

👉🏽 Be mindful
👉🏽 Read labels
👉🏽 Shop the perimeter

Because the real power isn’t in the marketing, it’s in our ability to guide our children into better choices. ⁣

There is something so sacred about being a Black woman. ⁣

We are the blueprint, the backbone, and the brilliance. We’re minding our business, drinking our water, and giving ourselves the same love we so freely give to everyone else. ⁣

We’re choosing peace over pressure, softness over struggle, and 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘵 over running ourselves into the ground.⁣

Being well is no longer a luxury for us it’s a lifestyle. ⁣

We’re learning to eat intentionally, move our bodies with joy, and get the sleep we actually need. Wellness isn’t just about green juices and working out (although yes, we absolutely love those too); it’s about reclaiming our time, our health, and our happiness. We’re saying yes to boundaries, naps, nutrient-rich meals, and movement that make us feel alive.⁣

To be a Black woman who puts herself first is revolutionary. ⁣

We deserve to feel good every single day, not just on vacation. So here’s to our soft, strong, well-nourished era. One where the glow is real, the peace is non-negotiable, and our self-care is sacred. ⁣
