“I don’t want anyone else’s life. I want to be radically awake within my own.”
As I enter my 49th year, I am delighted to be in the most empowered and sweet season of my life after several hard years of COVID and the loss of my father. I’ve finally learned to more fully surrender to the intelligence of life that is constantly working with each of us to move us into more expansion, more love and more joy. ✨
The challenges and pain we encounter are a guide post to let us know that we are somehow blocking the ‘more’ from coming in by staying in situations that have passed their expiration date. And the pain continues until we get out of our own way.
We often refuse to let go because we hold onto how we think our life ‘should be’ instead of making space for what ‘wants to be’. Culture teaches us to cement in the structures of our lives but we are constantly changing. We aren’t the same person we were 5 years ago and we will continue to grow and change. We have a limited view from our vantage point and are often in our blind spots. The Divine has a holistic view and is continually guiding us to more of our potential. 🙏🏻
When we learn to lean in and keep our hearts open with an understanding that pain is life’s way of initiating us into a greater opening - more life can flow through. Life will forever be a continual fractal of beginnings, middle and endings. When we learn to ride the waves, the predictable cycles will cease to have so much power over us. We will let go quicker and surrender instead of bracing for impact.
Now I wake up every day with tremendous GRATITUDE to be where I am. My life has far exceeded any and all expectations I may have had when I was younger.
I live abundantly and richly surrounded by beauty and nature. I have friends and family I love and adore who nurture and support me as I continue to grow and expand into greater levels of my authentic self-expression. They lift me up when I am down. They encourage me to soar higher than I ever thought possible. They inspire me daily to be so unapologetically me and to live with boldness and courage.
My life is filled with adventure and passion. With freedom as my top value, I have the ability to do what I want when I want. I wake up daily and pinch myself because I can’t believe that this is my life! I start every day with a solo dance connected to the vibe of universal love, as a deep feeling of oneness washes over me. Previously I would have been ecstatic to have that experience for even one minute and now it is my every day.
Living more embodied with my Soul’s expression - I marinate in the nectar of life – in awe of the miracle that it is. I find the sacred all around me in the quiet moments, the moments of celebration, the moments between us and another, in the communion with nature.
As I enter my 49th year, I know it will only continue to get better and better as I continue to live my life to the fullest with adventure and experience being my Holy Grail.
I am overjoyed to finally experience what it means to more fully love myself and to fall in love with life. I don’t believe we should wait for a Celebration of Life ceremony after we have passed – that doesn’t make any sense to me. I believe every day is an opportunity to celebrate what brings us fulfillment…now. 🙌
