Happy National Dog Day!

Last week our K9 Unit, along with members from the Marietta Police Department, Stockbridge Police Department, Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office K9 Unit, and SWAT medic, had the privilege of learning valuable information on K9 medic care in the field.

A huge thank you to Dogwood Vet Specialty for taking the time to teach us these lifesaving skills. The training equips K9 handlers with the ability to provide immediate medical care to their partners right on scene, ensuring our four-legged heroes are protected while they protect us.
