Wellstar recently welcomed 76 rising 10th through 12th grade high school students from over 60 Georgia high schools who spent two days at Wellstar as part of 21st Century Leaders' week-long Healthcare and IT Summer Institute. The students met several Wellstar leaders and visited Wellstar Vinings Health Park and Wellstar Cobb Medical Center, where they had a hands-on experience with the Da Vinci Surgical System, got a first aid lesson from our trauma team, visited our specialized Burn Center at Wellstar Cobb, learned about our partnership with Bee Downtown and heard about careers in healthcare. We value our partnership with 21st Century Leaders and look forward to planning exciting programs for the students each summer. They are an amazing group of young adults who represent the future of healthcare.
