This is so real! I just spent 3 days with Alabama Master Beekeepers to become an apprentice. I failed the written test. Whew! It's a tough condiment to digest. I intend to take the course & test again next year!

Many years ago, I took my first family trip with my now ex-husband.
We took advantage of all the things the resort had to offer!
Talent shows, parties, circus workshops, trapeze lessons, horseback riding, sailing and more.
Today's story is about sailing.
Before my ex-husband and I could go out on a boat by ourselves we had to pass a few lessons we'd been taught. We would also need to right-side the boat AND get back into it in case it turned over.
We each had to practice several times in our own boat. I kept flipping the boat over and having to get it right-side up. My ex thought it was hilarious. I was soaking wet. He was dry. I figured that I was not as good at sailing but I was good at right-siding. We were finally approved to go sailing.
We're out on the water in our boat together as a team. It is fun! We got this! AAAAND he does something and I get knocked off the boat and he can't get me back in the boat. When he tries to get me back in the boat he falls out, our boat flips over and then he doesn't know what to do and I'm able to do what???
You guessed it!!!
I was able to get the boat right-side up and get in it with ease.
I think that trip almost 30 years ago is what taught me to celebrate my failures and savor my success.
"Failure is the condiment that gives success its flavor."
That brings me to the past week. It was chock full of busy. 3rd trip of the month. Live speaking event. My mom's 75th birthday. There were some heavy balls dropped. There were some epic testimonials and connections.
When I fail (which is often), I succeed because I learn.
