I am so grateful to have witnessed the awesomeness of Delta women from my Mom and her Sorors as a little girl. They were (and still are) so sisterly and kind-hearted. Seeing Delta women make an impact in my school classrooms, workplaces, and throughout my community inspired me even further. Even as a Debutante, I prayed for the day in which I’d follow my Mothers footsteps. My Founders came out marching for women’s rights in 1913. Seeing Delta women making strides to help improve the human conditon with a primary focus on our community over the last 113 years has hit much differently since becoming a Delta. And knowing that the human condition still needs improvement and advocacy 113 years later is enough to keep me focused. And now, I’m celebrating my First Founders Day with my Mommy, Sister, Auntie, Line Sisters, and Sorors all over the world. 🥹 Happy Founders Day to my Sororssssss! OO-OOP!❤️🔺

It’s holiday season until January 2026. Remember that every question about your life doesn’t require an answer, especially by emotionally unsafe or sketchy folks. Keep them people out of your business.

The city took a MAJOR W this weekend. The Eastside (Dekalb) got some love too. 😊I have met Andre 3000 twice, and Big Boi once. All three times I met them on the East (Stn Mtn, L Town and the Dec). There has been some interesting discourse about who belongs to who, particularly high schools, but that Southwest Dekalb mention? YESSIRRRR! When I saw 3stacks wearing that SWD uniform (photo 2), I feel like I had the glow and I put mine on just a few years later (photo 1). Had Big Boi had on a uniform it’d feel the same to me. And to be clear, I have no favorite member bc they equally bring something necessary to the group. Environments that nurture your creativity matter. Especially schools. And I know everybody wants to play city limit wars these days, but there’s a lot of intermixing between city limits and other sides of town, especially the East and ClayCo. People can switch up and try to rewrite the parameters today, but those of a certain age know better. Shoutout to the whole Metro area tho. All sides. All love. Congratulations to one of my favorite artists ever, OutKast! ❤️

As someone who went to SWD for my first two years (during the “Stankonia” era at that), I gotta say these comments about Andre3000 shouting out SWD have been interesting to read. Not even in a bad way just out of gathering perspective. It’s appreciated.
I didn’t graduate from there either (not by choice either but I made the best of it, which actually changed my entire life), but my time at SWD still shaped me in invaluable ways. If I ever had a lifetime achievement award bestowed upon me, I would also shout out SWD and my official Alma mater of Stephenson, bc I have love for it too based on the invaluable things there as well. You don’t realize how experiences shape you until, well, you’re shaped or reshaped. Lol I don’t blame him for shouting out SWD. Sounds like there was a similar impact for him as well. But what has been even more interesting
is how some folks act like City of Atlanta folks don’t and can’t venture off to other parts of the Metro. I have met 3Stacks twice on the Eastside and Big Boi once, alllll times on the East. It’s ok for people to have ties outside the city limits, and vice versa. It’s all love 🤣❤️❤️❤️❤️

I have the right to change my mind on whoever, whatever, whenever. And so does anybody else. The power of choice is so underrated. We really can just change our minds, in either direction!😊

Man…this is a loss for the culture. D’Angelo soundtracked a lot of us Millennials’ coming of age. I remember seeing him perform at a VH1 show during the “Voodoo” era, and I was salty that I wasn’t an adult to see it in person. But about 15 years later, I was able to. This show was so special!!! He did so many encores that I lost count. High energy, electrifying, even. For those who never saw a show, here’s a snippet of his last show in Atlanta. It was sooo much anticipation for him to get on stage that once he did, mostly everyone was on their feet the entire show. And boy, did D’Angelo give us a helluva show! The good thing is that for those who’ve never seen him live, there’s so much footage on the Internet of his performances. ❤️

This is a HUGE LOSS. A true musician. A musician’s musician. I am glad that he was able to get his flowers while he was here to smell them. I went to his show about 10 years ago at the Tabernacle and it was amazing. My heart and prayers go out to his children and the rest of his loved ones. Michael Archer, aka “D’Angelo”, thank you for sharing your gifts with the world. ❤️🙏🏽

The world is going through so much, put your works out. Have faith that your work will reach the RIGHT people that are aligned with your mission. What’s for you will never miss you. So put it out! Shoutout to France, the UK, and my beloved home country for tapping in after I’ve been off of the airwaves so long. Thank you sooooo much! More to come, on the airwaves and in my writing. ❤️😊

Times are too perilous to be in somebody else’s business. 🤷🏽‍♀️The safest thing you can do is stay in your own lane, stay invested in the evolvement and betterment of ur own business, and commune with people who actually and genuinely care about your well-being, positively speaking, of course. Cuz anything else is a risk for trouble. 🤣 For real though. Protect your business, your household, etc with your LIFE. Bc people are weird and feel entitled to know what’s happening. You could chalk it up to power and control issues on one end, parasocial relationships on the other. Whether checking them directly, wrong info on purpose, or prayer/spiritually or a combo of all: Do what you gotta do. Idk where we got to the point of people overstepping and prying online or off, but if you need to draw a line in the sand, draw it and defend it properly. SET. YOUR. BOUNDARIES. With all this talk I see about monitoring spirits and bad-minded people, I had to say something. Meanwhile, it’s been such a beautiful Saturday! I ate some tasty ice cream and look forward to cooking later. How’s your day going? I hope it’s fabulous!!❤️

This song came out maybe a week or two after I launched in 2016, and this song will forever remind me of the newness of it all. And as I begin the end of this 9 year cycle, there’s so much newness in my own life and even for Spiritual Homegirl. This platform has changed my life and I am so grateful for it, and for you. Big shoutout to my hubby bc he was one of my biggest supporters of Spiritual Homegirl. I have done soooo much work to grow as a human being, and he’s one of few people who saw me raw, at day 0. His appreciation for the woman that I grew into hit different bc he knew the firecracker before the progress. 🤣From driving hours to my first event, to always supporting my ideas publicly and privately, even from day 1. We are growing up, y’all. On and off app. Cheers to another 9. Thank you. ❤️🙏🏽
