My little Katie is home from the hospital after 5 days for an intestinal problem that the root cause is still an inigma...For 4 days her progress was very slow after my regular vet, Dr. Wallis of Gwinnett Animal Clinic, who has always been wonderful with Katie and Charlie, my 120 lb rescue! He told me she did not have 24 hours left... then he referred me to Blue Pearl Animal Hospital in Suwanee under the guidance of an internist and the medical director of 2 hospitals, Dr. James Whitehead. He was great at consistently communicating with me twice a day and collaborating to develop a plan of care. The first 2 days were still critical. By day 3 he was "cautiously optimistic". Then yesterday, the 4th day, I took a chance and asked if we could try a cellular supplement that has helped my own body conquer pain and joint deformities for the past 3 1/2 years that I have used it. Dr. Whitehead was open and willing, His nurse, Stacey Ann, thoroughly took notes on the sequence of how to use the liquid, ASEA, and the gel, RENU28, that are both full of the Redox Signaling Molecules that tell the body where healing is needed. Stacey implemented what Dr. Whitehead called "[my] orders" first thing in the morning, and by this afternoon, Katie was stable enough, happy with tail wagging and eating/drinking well enough to come home! She is quietly resting now, and it is wonderful to have her back when I thought I might lose her at only 12 1/2 years of age. She is not 100% yet, but will be very soon thanks to 2 wonderful vets, their plans of care and the RSMs that helped the body know where the meds were needed, and helped them work better to heal my little girl! Thanks to all my family and friends who said prayers of healing for Katie! They were definitely answered through the very capable hands and quality care of the Blue Pearl staff! AMEN!
