“The Living Word” (The Newsletter Growing in God’s Love) “Reason Enough to Love”
In our last several excerpts from the Newsletter we’ve learned of spiritual “Right Believing… which directs us towards Right Living” through the Word of God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit from which all laws for Right Living were created and written not only giving us reason enough to believe but it also gives us a BIG Reason to LOVE.
Have you ever Loved someone because in one way or another they were “Pleasing” to you. To tell you the truth my flesh Loves chocolate because it’s pleasing to me (smile), and chocolate is not that good for me physically in excess but “Oh it taste so good”. Does that tell you something? It tells me that following my fleshly Love can not only be bad for me physically but my flesh makes bad decisions, which is why we weren’t able to live up to our 1st covenant of LAW, with our flesh making love decisions there wouldn’t be a bull, lamb, goat, or dove around – they’d all be sacrificed to uphold the spiritual laws of Love. We are so lucky we are now under a covenant of GRACE. Under Grace through the Love of “Our Father” we’re shown Love and how to Love through our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Through God’s Grace, your Faith and Belief, you are seen as the son of God, you’re viewed by God as His Son Jesus, our Sunshine. “Doesn’t Love make you feel warm all over like Sunshine?” When Jesus was revealed to John after being baptized “Our Father in Heaven” declared “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased” Matt 3:17 and I declare to you this is how God sees you, you’re His Beloved. Believers we are now Beloved and highly favored through the blood of Jesus, no more bulls, lambs, goats, or doves need be sacrificed for our fleshly sins of lust and love. We now have someone who showed us real Love and asked Our Father not to leave us comfortless, leave us someone just like the Father and Son spiritually, someone to guide us in everything, especially Love. Love which are our two greatest commandments as stated in Matt. 22:37-40 “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.” “Our Father” and Jesus are reason enough to Love let alone the Holy Spirit now embedded in us. Through His Spiritual Love for each of us He announced “For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, norpowers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Rom 8:38-39 Now that’s Love! I’ll be the last one to tell you about loving someone in the flesh, decisions made alone with the flesh have given me plenty of opportunity and failure in Love… and a broken heart hurts. I’ve learned to follow Jesus. You can’t beat Jesus’ Love or God’s thoughts of Love which you can read about in our original manufactures instruction manual “The Bible”. I trust in God for my next (last) relationship, I trust in His Love for me. And Remember God Loves You and I ditto that!
