There is absolutely nothing wrong with trusting and believing in Jesus and that in Him you are protected, loved and that He will make a way. With that belief comes with the face that there are people who have been placed on our lives for a purpose. We believe in God to send us the right job, a vehicle, a spouse or a home, why not believe in being send to the right medical providers or mental health professionals? Yes, we have pastors, who lead and guide us as we strive for spiritual healthiness, while we often neglect our mental health or physical health. Let’s choose to be healthy all around. It is perfectly okay to have a pastor, a doctor and a therapist.

Keeping a bandage on a wound for too long will cause a delay in the healing process. Exposing that wound gives opportunity for complete healing to take place. It’s a process though, that wound may cause some discomfort as it is healing. Similar to that wound, in life some things have to be exposed in order to total healing to take place. It’s time to rip those bandages off and experience complete healing. It may be uncomfortable at first, but you will love the end results. Let’s see how I can help you. Check out my link in the bio.

I recently had a conversation with someone about an unorganized closet, with a lot of boxes. This caused me to think about life and how sometimes we have so much packed away and hidden in our personal closets. With this follows various stressors, frustrations and trials that seem to come out of nowhere. Buried in those boxes, hidden in that closet can be unresolved or ignored trauma from various forms of abuse, some we don’t even realize or recognize as being a traumatic event. We hold on to pains and hurts for whatever reasons, with one being because we don’t want to experience the emotional hurt that comes with the thoughts and memories. Ignoring those experiences is like consistently placing a dirty bandage on a wound that requires stitches. Don’t you think it’s time to sit down and start unpacking those hidden boxes so that you can experience total healing? Let me help you!
