A lot of people believe that water is just water and it canโt be that important right? And the type of water we drink canโt really matter that much right? Well hereโs a post to put it into perspective.
-
First of all most of you know(or do you ๐ค) that at least 60% of your bodyโs make up is water. Thatโs more than half of your entire being! Then to put it more into perspective, a high percentage of all of your major organs and functions are made up of or extremely dependent on water and every living cell in the body needs it.

Lastly, do you know that, from a timeline perspective, you would die of dehydration before you died of hunger? On average, a person can go maybe 21 days without food. As for water? You may only survive 3 days without it!

So hopefully this post changes your perspective on drinking water. If you arenโt an avid water drinker, start where you are by adding in a cup or two extra. Then work your way up to a general rule of thumb of about half your body weight in ounces.
