Fam. We love you. You showed up. You gave after already giving. You believe in this mission and you SEE this vision with us.

We’re still waiting for final numbers, and it’s possible we didn’t quite meet our big, scary, audacious goal of $150k this year (but we still might have our socks knocked off!), and that would be okay. But one thing’s for sure: when our community comes together, we can do FAR more than when we try to do it alone.

This year was way more about bringing our people together, bringing our fams, the ones who have our backs, all into one place and boldly saying THIS IS WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE’VE BEENA POURING ourselves into. Because you all truly may not know the whole story! And what we’re doing IS amazing. It’s revolutionary. And no one else is doing it quite like how we are being called to do this.

So reach out to us. If you want to know more or understand better who we are and what we’re accomplishing, let’s get on a zoom call or get coffee together and we’ll share all about it. It’s our favorite thing to talk about (besides or kids and spouses, of course). The truth is, we can’t make this happen without you. We NEED you to get involved. And what we need more than anything this upcoming year in 2026 are monthly donors. $30, $80 per month from many people goes a LONG way for our planning. So jump in! Cumberland Counseling Centers + Richmont Graduate University Partnership

We’re thrilled to announce that starting January 2025, Cumberland Counseling Centers and Richmont Graduate University are now partnering to operate what Richmont formerly called their “Hope Centers”, combining resources to provide excellent, Christ-centered mental health care.

For any church or faith organization, we can help create or grow a mental health ministry- as even secular research increasingly recognizes the connection between spiritual health and mental health.

Through this partnership, we will:

🫱🏽‍🫲🏾Support the mental health of your congregation and community with excellence.

💪🏼Equip your church to welcome people seeking therapy who might not feel comfortable attending or entering a church otherwise.

🧠Show the love of Christ in innovative and healing ways, by meeting them right where they’re at in a therapy session.

🤝 Collaborate with local churches and faith organizations to create affordable, church-based counseling centers.

🎓 Serve as training sites for Richmont’s clinical mental health interns, enhancing their education and extending care to even more people.

As Alexandra Thompson, our Executive Director, shares: “Richmont’s mission aligns perfectly with ours: to create highly skilled therapists who are the hands and feet of Jesus. This partnership allows us to bring God’s healing power to even more people.”

Together, we are advancing God’s work of healing, restoration, and transformation in lives across the region.

Wednesdays are for connection 💻💛 Our weekly team meeting is more than just an hour on Zoom—it’s where we come together as a Cumberland Counseling family. Even though we’re spread out across four locations in Metro Atlanta, this is our time to recharge, share wisdom, and stay united in our mission to bring healing and hope to those we serve.

From consulting on client cases to catching up on each other’s lives, praying together, and staying in the loop about new opportunities—we pack a lot of heart into these meetings. It’s a space where we bond, support one another, and remind ourselves why we do what we do. 🙏✨

Here’s a peek into our last Zoom call—our virtual meeting that keeps us grounded and energized to make a difference every single week. 🌱💙One very important team member is missing here, but we sure are glad that we all get to connect most of the time on these Wednesday meetings!
