Our hearts weigh heavy with the recent passing of our dearly beloved colleague and friend Joanne Wintersgill. It has been both a privilege and honour to have had the opportunity to work alongside her in Pediatrics through the many stages of her career over the last 15 years.
Her spirit, drive, compassion, and passion for learning were contagious and her deadpan humorous observations always came at the right moment to uplift all around her. Joanne most certainly embodied our core values “Nurture. Cultivate. Grow.” in every way on every level.
It was Joanne’s dearest wish to assist our community in providing life changing opportunities for others through education.
