Glad we could assist you and mom along the way.

If you’re a paramedic, and run a lot of calls, the chances are you’re going to deliver a few babies :) I know I have. Many times, the paramedics names make it on to the birth certificate!



Firefighter/Paramedics assigned to Rescue Ambulance 30 helped deliver a healthy baby boy in Thousand Oaks earlier today.

This morning, RA30, Medic Engine 142, and Medic Quint 44 were dispatched to a pregnancy-related emergency along the 23 Freeway. Upon arrival, crews found the mother in imminent labor. Our firefighters quickly and safely assisted Mom into the Rescue Ambulance and began transporting her to the hospital.

Within minutes of leaving the scene, Firefighter/Paramedics assisted with the delivery of a healthy baby boy. The family has named him Andres.

Later this afternoon, our firefighters had the opportunity to visit the family at the hospital, bringing flowers to congratulate Mom and celebrate Andres’ arrival.

A big thank you to Firefighter/Paramedics Jared Gray and Austyn Frailey, Captain Tyler Johnson, Engineer/Paramedic Ali Castro, and Firefighter Anthony Chaidez for their quick actions and continued dedication to serving our community.

I’m jealous of this, feels like yesterday.
The bond you will form with your academy mates will be for a lifetime…

Proud of the newest Fire recruits of Las Vegas, Clark County Fire Dept. I promise you will get in shape in the Academy. You will test yourself mentally and physically, and this is just the beginning. Congrats to these young men and women entering into the best job in the world!

I’m jealous of these new firefighters running the Strip in Las Vegas, I was running in Inglewood!

Never, Ever, Leave anything on the Pole

This is rule #1…Its a blind leap of faith dropping down the pole hole, keep it clear hahahah, this video had me laughing .. 😂

Wildfires in Chile are still burning out of control

They are experiencing high heat, low humidity, and strong winds, which leads to an extremely fast moving dangerous fire

My thoughts are with the families who have lost loved ones and friends, and anyone affected by this fire 🙏🏼
