Camp Victory 2 - Day 3

Great barrel session yesterday learning that where you leave the alley way has a direct effect on the 1st barrel!

Rylee & Kaydence won the Dolly Parton race (closely followed by Harper and Etta)! More kickball, a flashlight craft, and homemade brownie/homemade ice cream to wind down the night!

We also looked at how different feeds have different suggested feeding amounts for their horses, so it is important to be sure you are feeding enough!

See you parents in a few hours - gate opens at 3! Please be in the bleachers by 3:30 ao your camper can prepare Forest their competition🐴

Camp Victory 2 - Day 2

3 horse sessions • Cup Game • Kickball • Sherriff’s Department Presentation

We had some dragging girls yesterday after about 6 hours of sleep, but it was a good day! The campers learned about their barrel/pole pocket, rate, finishing their turns, and not to post during a trot!

Please see the comments for any videos - including “Pawpaw” Danny joining in the kickball game!

Camp Victory | Day 3 - 18 hours of going non-stop! This is ine squealy & talkative group of girls!

We had the Sheriff’s office come out to give a presentation, and there were so many questions from the girls! We appreciated how engaged they were!
We went straight from there to saddle horses and start some horsemanship exercises to learn how to shape our horses & use our reins separately!

After lunch to feed the very hungry girls, we were finally able to bring back APPLE BOBBING for the first time since 2019 with a craft to follow while a storm moved through! 🍎 Congratulations Piper & Harleigh for having the biggest mouths and winning the apple bobbing (closely followed by Chloe & Lila)! Videos will be in the comments if you want to see how committed some of them were to the mission!

Once the storm passed, we went back to riding our horses and doing some barrel work to see what all they learned from the horsemanship exercises! Some girls were NOT looking forward to this second session since they were tired and their butts hurt from being in a saddle so much the past few days!

After dinner, they got to play kickball before a race through the showers & homemade brownies with homemade ice cream right before bed 💤

Camp Victory - Day 2

Horsemanship • Barrel Slow Work • “Egg” & Spoon Race • PingPong in a Cup • Seran Wrap Ball

We had a fun day 2 yesterday with some surprising victories in our games!!
Rylee & Lola won the “Egg” & Spoon Race closely followed by Sara & Merritt!!

Sarah Beth & Molli Claire won the ball in a cup game! This one was surprising; if you don’t know about MC’s hand-eye coordination, just ask her - she’ll tell you it’s bad! But some how they managed to get 7 balls in their cup in 25 seconds!!

We had more rain and storms come through last night, but other than the ground being overly saturated, we look forward to another great day! 🐴

Camp Victory 1 - Day 1

There were some storms that came through last night, but similar to Noah and the sea, God parted the storms around us! We got some rain and a little thunder, and we are all safe! 🙌🏻

Looking forward to another good day today! 🐴
