Meet William and LouAnn Puckett! William and LouAnn grew up in Jefferson and met at Jefferson High School. They became parents at 16 years old. Nearly 4 decades later, they share their story, to anyone who will listen, of overcoming life’s struggles. Together they founded Street Love Ministries, a local homeless outreach, as a way to show those considered the least, the last, and the lost that there is a better way to live.

Meet Travis Noland! Coach Noland is married to his wife, Julie, and they have three boys. He is from the mountains of Western North Carolina where he grew up in the paper mill town of Canton and lived there until he graduated from college. Life in Canton was pretty simple. People knew everyone, were hard-working, and most jobs revolved around the paper mill. Coach Noland went to Appalachian State College and played football. He is the head football coach at Jefferson High School.

Meet Melissa Hodges! Melissa was born and raised in Telfair County. She graduated from Georgia Southern University and started her teaching career in 2000. Melissa and her husband, Heath were married and moved to Jackson County in 2010. They decided to start a family here because the community reminded them of the small towns where they grew up. They attend Southside Church, and Melissa enjoys volunteering on the Greater Jackson County Young Life Committee.
