History teaches us many lessons… some listen and do their own research and others continue to choose science to induce, use a variety of meds and often without any medical reason. Choose wisely. You get one shot to be pregnant with this child and one chance to birth this baby.
Dr Tom Brewer wrote a real easy read back in the day called, What ever pregnant woman should know. Still an effective tool to help women be healthier versions of themselves and help reduce likelihood and often completely avoid negative outcomes like toxemia / pre-eclampsia, elevated BP, etc.
Dr Robert Bradley of Denver, Colorado taught the lesson this way… It’s not the drug that is necessarily bad or good, it is how the drug or chemical agent is used. Is it medically necessary or not?
Do what you can to stay healthy and low risk. Choose quality childbirth education and doula support for better outcomes. If healthy and low risk, Consider homebirth with a competent licensed midwife.
