At 16, Auriana “Auri” Faith has shown what it truly means to be brave. Born with a complete Atrioventricular Canal Defect (AVCD), Patent Ductus Arteriosus (PDA), Left Ventricular Outflow Tract Obstruction (LVOTO), and aortic valve insufficiency, she has faced three open-heart surgeries with remarkable strength. Alongside her heart conditions, Auri has Down syndrome, 16p11.2 distal duplication syndrome, and scoliosis, yet meets every challenge with unwavering courage.

She loves music, memorizing her favorite movies, exploring nature with her family, jumping on the trampoline, going to church, and visiting Chuck E. Cheese.

Auri is cared for by Dr. Michelle Wallace at our Stockbridge clinic, and her parents share that she has surpassed every expectation given at birth. She gives the best hugs, fills every space with joy, and is loved by all who know her. 💖

Gabriel just celebrated his heart-iversary! 💙 He is a heart warrior who was born with Double Inlet Left Ventricle (DILV), Transposition of the Great Arteries (TGA), and a single ventricle. Despite his complex diagnosis, Gabriel's joy and strength shine through every single day.

Under the care of Dr. Denver Sallee at the Children's Cardiology Dalton Clinic, Gabriel recently celebrated a milestone his family will never forget. At their latest appointment, they heard the words they’d been hoping for: “See you in six months.”

He loves making “vroom” noises while racing his toy cars across the floor, playing peekaboo by covering his face, and sharing giggles with his brothers and sisters. He’s almost walking and always smiling. Happy heart-iversary, Gabriel! 💙
