Since the recent election, many Black folks are saying it loud: we’re focusing on Black issues moving forward. For Us and everyone else who swears they care, here’s your moment to prove it.

In 2019, the U.S. declared a “State of Emergency” for Black women giving birth. Guess what’s changed? The numbers are worse. Every year since, Black women are still 3-4 times more likely to die giving birth, and our babies are twice as likely to die before their first birthday. The CDC confirms it. The system is failing us.

So, here’s the deal:
If you care, do something.
Support the National Black Doulas Association working on the frontlines to save lives.
