Tender courage.
That’s been our theme this month at Stillness—and today, it was quite clear .
I watched as two geese flew overhead in quiet tandem, never leaving each other’s side. Each movement seemed to arise from a shared listening… a kind of knowing. No force, no urgency—just rhythm, balance, and trust…side by side.
Together they flew over, right above my head and then they took a turn together as if they knew instinctively when to turn and how to stay close . Side by side they then landed gracefully together in the pond.
They stayed together. Still attuned. Still aligned.
An inward awe arises.
A sense of meaning that didn’t need words.
It reminded me that courage doesn’t always look like pushing or striving. Sometimes it looks like softening enough to stay connected. To listen. To trust what you feel without needing to explain it. A knowing that is felt.
Tender courage is here.
Not loud. Not forceful.
Just steady, quiet, and true.
Perhaps we practice this together on and off our mats —staying present, listening deeply, and trusting the quiet rhythm that connects us all. Grace an Awe. 🙏💖
