Patients with Heart Disease in focus at the NMDC
International collaboration is at the heart of the NMDC’s work. We have had the honour and pleasure of collaborating with many wonderful nurses and midwives from around the world and are very grateful for their contribution to achieving our mission. One of them is Dr. Anita Rich who has been visiting the Kurdistan Region for many years. Her kindness and enthusiasm inspire us all and we are very happy that she shared her expertise with us and the nurses from the Cardiac Centre in Erbil. She talked about the role of nurses in the care of patients with heart diseases and demonstrated the great potential of nurses to improve care and life of patients and their families.
