Just watched Mel Robbins’ podcast with Dr. Eric Topol on longevity and it was SO good.
They talked about how to actually live longer and stay healthy while doing it — super interesting stuff, and honestly pretty inspiring.

If you're into health, aging well, or just want to feel more in control of your future, give it a listen!

Spring is around the corner, and with it comes a season of renewal.🌸 It's a great time to check in with yourself: How's your stress levels? If stress is feeling overwhelming, try focusing on grounding exercises or deep breathing exercises. These small practices can make a big difference. Remember, taking care of your mental health is just as important as taking care of your body.

Have your ever wondered why you feel better after a walk? There is science behind it!

When you walk you improve circulation to your body and your brain, which has a positive impact on something that’s called your hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis (HPA axis) which is responsible for your stress response, so when you walk you help positively impact your HPA-axis which helps calm your nerves and helps you better deal with stress. Plus the fresh air and sunshine helps with vitamin D and immunity. A walk doesn’t fix it all, but it can help.

Check out this new study to know exactly how many steps you need to keep depression at bay.

People who get a certain number of daily steps were found to have fewer depressive symptoms and less risk of depression, according to a new study in JAMA Network Open.

Wishing you a gentle holiday season, and looking forward to walking along side you in the new year. 💙

🎄 **Holiday Stress? Here’s How to Take Care of YOU!** 🎄

The holidays can bring joy, but they can also be overwhelming. Here are a few tips to help you stay grounded and care for your mental well-being during this busy season:

✨ Set realistic expectations and don’t overcommit. It’s okay to say no!
✨ Practice mindfulness—take a few moments each day to breathe and reset.
✨ Create new traditions and focus on what brings you joy.
✨ Stay physically active—go for a walk or dance to your favorite music!
✨ Limit social media and news to avoid unnecessary stress.
✨ Remember, it’s okay to feel whatever you’re feeling. Reach out for support if needed!

Take a break, breathe deeply, and remember the holidays are about connection, not perfection. 💖

If you haven’t watched the documentary “Strutz” directed by Jonah Hill, on his personal struggles with mental health and his work with his own therapist, Dr. Phil Strutz, I highly recommend it.

Strutz is an incredible documentary on the therapeutic relationship and has helpful “Tools” developed by Dr. Strutz to aid in overcoming mental health struggles.

Meet Jonah Hill’s friend and therapist, Phil Stutz. Directed by Hill, this film invites you to explore Dr. Stutz’s Tools for life in an effort to get real, g...

Men’s mental health matters—yet many still feel pressure to keep silent. Reaching out for help takes strength, not weakness. Let’s normalize open conversations and remind every man that it’s okay to prioritize mental well-being.

November is month. We at Touch of Healing would like to bring awareness to this to end the stigma around men’s mental health.
💙 Men are 3x more likely to die by su***de than women.
💙 Men are less likely to access psychological therapies than women.
💙 Men report lower levels of life satisfaction than women.
Please know, if you are struggling, you are not in this alone and there is help close by.
