WHAT YOU FOCUS ON MATTERS!! It's easy to miss something you're not looking for. In a famous example, people were asked to closely observe two groups of people -- one group clad in black, the other in white -- pass a ball among themselves. Viewers were asked to count the number of times the ball passed from black to white. Remarkably, most observers did not notice a man in a gorilla suit, walking among the players. This ability of the brain to ignore extraneous visual information is critical to how we work and function, but the processes governing perception and attention are not fully understood. Scientists have long theorized that attention to a particular object can alter perception by amplifying certain neuronal activity and suppressing the activity of other neurons (brain "noise").- Science Daily. What are you focusing on? Are they things that bring you peace, joy, and success?

Discussing my first book on managing stress and improving profitability, and how it ties into the upcoming book. If we fill every corner of our minds with busy work and stress, we leave no space for innovation, which is the genius of American business.

What is an Executive Yogi™

An Executive is thought of as a corporate officer or manager in a business or organization. A Yogi is a person who seeks development thru the integration and balance of body, mind, and spirit. An Executive Yogi™ is a specialist in the art of overall life success through the integration of business and personal development. Think of it this way: An executive’s goal is to maximize the economic development of a business and a yogi’s goal is to maximize the development of the inner self.

Although these two goals - organizational development and individual self-development are sometimes thought of as separate, I believe that they are, in fact, inextricably intertwined. As we develop the qualities of body, mind, and spirit, we begin to achieve greater control over our organizational and business life as well.

I was born in India in Agra, the city that is home to the Taj Mahal. My early life was spent in India where I was brought up in the ways of the yogi. As a teen, I came to the US where I was educated in business, becoming a CPA. I have been fortunate enough to be able to achieve business excellence and personal excellence in my home, family, and friendships. I coined the term, The Executive Yogi™, as it perfectly describes my approach to life, and I realized that I could teach the principles behind them to others.

I believe that you can use these principles to help you:
