I am so honored that I've been called to conduct such sacred, rewarding and spirit-affirming work. I believe in love ... love is the power that can transform us as individuals, and ultimately transform the world.

Authentic living is powerful. When our desires and actions are in harmony with who we truly are, accepting the consequences, whether positive or negative, becomes a natural part of our journey. 🌺

People do some hurtful things in the name of romantic love. They lie, cheat, and abuse on the one hand, and then claim they love you on the other. I find this behavior very strange, because these things clearly are at odds. Why does this happen? Why is this acceptable?

To love someone is easy: You are honest (with yourself and the other person), you honor your agreements (if you can’t, change them), and you be kind. Why is this so difficult?

We can do better.

Having a foundation of honesty and kindness allows space for dignity and respect to remain when inevitable conflicts arise.

To love and to be loved is a sacred gift.

I was chatting with this dude I met on an app and we were talking about what we were looking for in a relationship and stuff like that.

Then he said, regarding love and or commitment that that was time in the relationship when you can start making demands of each other.

Demands? Really? No.

Love is a gift, not an obligation or a right. It is a privilege to love and be loved. And so instead of becoming entitled to someone's affection and attention, how about being grateful for every act of love bestowed upon us.

We can love each other better.

Strong feelings are just feelings. We could just acknowledge them, breathe through them, and let them pass.

Once the urgency passes, then make decisions and act from your center, not from these fleeting emotions.

It is easy to love a romantic partner unconditionally.

It becomes easy when you redefine what romantic love is.

We have been socialized to love in a way that is about what we receive, not what we give. We’ve been taught to love in ways that by design include strings. We have been taught that if a relationship doesn’t look a certain way or last forever, it is a failure.

We can love unconditionally by not being tied to the idea of being together forever.

We can love unconditionally by being tied to the idea of being together as long as the relationship is authentic and healthy.

We can love unconditionally by having a commitment to the truth, not a particular outcome.

We can love from the idea that we are all entitled to follow our bliss, even when we’re in a relationship.

In loving unconditionally, we want the best for the other person, even if it doesn’t include us. It is painful when a vision ends, but we can transition in love, with dignity and peace, knowing that love is eternal.

All too often when we get into romantic relationships we think we are well within our rights to demand things of our partner. Or conversely that we have to do everything that they ask of us.

It is healthy is to set . We can love from a place of authenticity and being true to ourselves instead of loving from a place of obligation or the idea that someone owes us something.

I don't fight with people I love. We can have a conflict and still keep the .

So it's about not being tied to or overly attached to the thoughts or emotions we're having when reacting to something that makes us feel uncomfortable.

We can state our feelings, thoughts, or desires and then adjust as necessary; even if it means having to physically separate. The love will still always be there.

Personally, I can promise that I will never curse out, hit, or act out of anger, fear, or insecurity in a harmful or violent way. That's not my vibe.

Why are we at war when we all want the same thing: to love and be loved for who we truly are?
