We are ending 2025 with a sprint! Between now and midnight on New Year’s Eve, we are looking for 100 members of our community to step up and support our scholarship sites.

What a great opportunity for teens in metro Atlanta!

Got a teen who’s carrying a lot, even if they don’t always say it out loud?

Teen Yoga is a chance for them to move, stretch, laugh a little, breathe deep, and shake off the stress of school, screens, and busy schedules, all in a space made just for them.

No experience needed. No pressure to “be good at yoga.”
Just music, movement, confidence-building, and time to reset.

Join us TONIGHT & every Tuesday at 6:00 PM for a class where teens get to be teens, strong, curious, and totally themselves.

If you’re thinking, “This actually sounds perfect for my kid,” trust that feeling.

New Chapters

After teaching high school English for many years, then caring for my babies at home, I began searching for a new way to make a difference in my Smyrna, Georgia community. Yoga can provide the tools that young people need to have more confidence in control of their bodies and minds. Being able to calm themselves, to make thoughtful choices, and to stay focused on what is most important to them are vital skills. Exercising to build stamina and strength, and to work off that excess youthful energy will help them grow into healthier adults.

The goal of Freedom Youth Yoga, Inc is to be able to provide yoga instruction to youth who would usually not have the opportunity, starting with the Smyrna community. We are currently offering preschool yoga classes at the Smyrna Community Center and After School Program instruction at a local elementary school. We love any ideas you may have for growing the offerings of this venture.
