A Journey of Love...

Mobility Lifter is not simply a business—it’s a work of love and compassion for those who suffer mobility issues such as those we had experienced with my mother when she came to live with us during her golden years. Al though still full of life and vigor, her doctor informed us that walking up and down flights of stairs was going to be nearly impossible for her. After time spent feeling disconnected from her family and friends and virtually being confined to her bedroom, we knew we needed to find a product that worked for all of us. We wanted something more than the average stair climber—we wanted to improve her everyday life, allowing for ease-of-access wherever she would go. So, we searched the internet looking for an affordable, portable, and reliable staircase climber, and coming up short in the U.S market. The only machine that made sense to us was the LiftKar, a machine manufactured by the Austrian company, SANO Transportgeraete. When we reached out to them, we learned that we had no buying options because they had not yet been approved by the FDA. Being inspired by all the obstacles the LiftKar resolves, we decided to attempt to get approval by the FDA ourselves, and, amazingly enough, it worked!

Now, we are the proud owners of Mobility Lifter, LLC, your American and Canadian dealer for the LiftKar. The LIFTKAR PT is a product designed to benefit the family, the professional and the commercial marketplace. Because it is attendant operated, easy to use, battery-powered, and light weight; making this stair climber completely mobile and usable anywhere. Inside or outdoors, up and down almost any staircase…steps are no longer the obstacle they once were!

Over the years we have seen the LIFTKAR PT benefit all of the following: the elderly, children, churches, schools, universities, nursing homes, ambulatory care services, ambulance companies, wedding/restaurant venues, public buildings, private and commercial jets, yachts, cruise lines, ferries…the possibilities are limitless. And, of course, it was an amazing help to my mother, whom we dedicate our business to after her passing in 2012 at 98 years of age—a thousand times we will miss you!
