🐴🌿 Why Camp at WildeWood Farm? 🌿🐴

Summer camp is more than just filling a few hours in the day—it’s about giving children an experience they’ll remember long after summer ends.

At WildeWood Farm, camp is designed to be just that.

This year marks our 30th year of summer camp, and over the years we’ve had the privilege of watching children grow into confident riders, responsible young adults, and even return later with families of their own. 💛

We offer three types of camp to fit every interest:
🐴 Horse Camp — for those who want to ride and learn horsemanship - get your own horse for the week
🌾 Farm Adventure Camp — for kids who love animals and hands-on farm life
🔄 Hybrid Camp — pick your own adventure

Each day runs 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM, giving kids a full, active morning while avoiding the heat of the afternoon. And if your child comes home tired… that’s a good sign 😊 It means they’ve been moving, learning, and fully engaged.

🌿 What Makes WildeWood Different?

✨ Space to roam
With nearly 40 acres of open land, kids have room to explore, breathe, and experience nature in a way that’s hard to find.

✨ Real farm life
This isn’t a petting zoo—it’s a working farm. Campers get to be part of daily life, surrounded by horses, cows, pigs, sheep, goats, chickens, dogs, and cats.

✨ Baby animals
There’s nothing quite like watching baby animals play—and yes, there are plenty of those this time of year 💛

✨ Hands-on learning
Kids don’t just watch—they participate. They learn responsibility, confidence, and how to interact safely with animals.

✨ Time outdoors
Fresh air, movement, and connection to the natural world—something kids need now more than ever.

💛 A Great Value

Camp is $100 per day, which includes a full 4-hour experience.

To put that in perspective:
A single one-hour lesson is $80.

Camp gives your child:
✔️ More time
✔️ More exposure
✔️ More experiences
✔️ More memories

🌟 The Takeaway

Camp at WildeWood isn’t just about riding or animals.

It’s about:

Building confidence
Learning responsibility
Making friends
Connecting with nature
And experiencing something real

If you’re looking for a camp where your child comes home happy, tired, and full of stories… this is it.

Everyone loves the idea of a farm—the animals, the fresh air, the peaceful setting. But behind that beauty is a tremendous amount of work that most people never see.

Farms run every single day. There are no days off from feeding, watering, cleaning, maintaining fences, caring for animals, fixing equipment, managing land, and keeping everything safe and functional. On top of that, there are very real costs—feed, hay, vet bills, farrier care, property maintenance, taxes, and insurance. It adds up quickly.

The good news? You don’t have to own a farm to support one. There are simple, meaningful ways you can help:

🌿 Share, share, share
Every time you see a post about lessons, camps, birthday parties, or events—share it. That one click helps farms reach new families more than you realize.

🌿 Post in local and mom groups
Farm owners often aren’t allowed to promote in these groups unless they pay to advertise. But you can. Your recommendation carries weight and helps connect others to the farm.

🌿 Take photos and tag the farm
When you’re visiting, snap a few pictures and share them. Tag the farm so others can see the experience through your eyes.

🌿 Spread the word
Tell your friends. Recommend the farm. Word-of-mouth is still one of the most powerful ways small farms grow.

🌿 Support their programs
Lessons, camps, and events aren’t just activities—they’re what keep the farm running and the animals cared for.

Farms are special places, but they only continue to exist because of community support. If you love having a farm in your area, these small actions make a big difference. 💚

🌞 Early Bird Camp Countdown is ON! ⏰
Only ⏳ 8 DAYS LEFT to save $25 OFF Summer Camp at WildeWood Farm!
Our camps fill quickly every year, and this is your chance to reserve your child’s spot while saving.
WildeWood Farm camps are designed for boys and girls who want to unplug, get outside, and experience a real working farm with horses and lots of farm animals. Campers spend their mornings learning hands-on horsemanship, grooming and riding horses, caring for animals, and exploring the rhythm of farm life.
🌞 Camp Options:
🐴 Horse Camp
🌿 Farm Adventure Camp
🔀 Hybrid Camp
🕣 Time: Monday–Friday | 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM

Our camps are intentionally held during the cooler morning hours. Georgia summers can be very hot, and camp at the farm is active — children are walking, grooming, riding, and moving around the barn and pastures. Ending at lunchtime helps keep kids safe, focused, and happy rather than overheated.

Another benefit? Most campers go home pleasantly tired — the kind of tired that comes from fresh air, movement, and learning something new. They’re usually ready for lunch and a quiet afternoon of rest, reading, or movie time, which makes for a nice rhythm to the day: active mornings at the farm and relaxed afternoons at home.

📅 Dates: Available on www.wildewoodfarm.com & Facebook Events
