š§āāļøIsnāt this a beautiful picture of me sitting on my yoga mat? A picture can be worth a thousand words, but itās often whatās unsaid that is more in line with the truth. Like the fact that until last week, I hadnāt touched a yoga mat or pair of gym shoes in over three weeks! Iām back on track, which is why I can not only confess, but attest to the fact that;
A. We shouldnāt spend our time comparing ourselves to what we THINK other people are doing better than us.
B. We are NEVER too far gone to pick up right where we left off. All is never lost.
š¤ When we have nothing to show for ourselves in the way of self care, we can look at it as a failure or a blank slate to begin anew and redefine our reality. We get to do that over and over again! Perspective is everything and it can make or break the way we treat ourselves.
ā”ļø This week I challenge you to identify where youāve fallen short of your goals, dust yourself off and be grateful you are still here to begin again, and again if needed, and even again until we recognize that the ups and downs are normal and the very things that keep us moving forward and upward to the best version of ourselves.
