“The rights of every man are diminished when the rights of one man are threatened” -John F. Kennedy December is Universal Human Rights Month. What does Human Rights mean 🤔 well Human Rights are principles and standards of human behavior that are regularly protected in municipal and international law. Human Rights belong to and are justifiable for everyone; no one is excluded. Human Rights guarantee and protect individuals and groups against actions and omissions that interfere with your fundamental freedom and human dignity. These fundamental freedoms are defined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights which is available online. The Universal Human Rights Declaration and Laws enforce governments and other institutions to do certain things (right to Liberty, Freedom and Life, freedom from slavery, torture, freedom of opinion and expression, the right to education and the right to work) without facing discrimination. “We declare that human rights are for all of us, all the time: whoever we are and wherever we are from; no matter our class, our opinions, our sexual orientation” - Former UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon
