Quick reminder for anyone focused on hydration right now:

Water intake and body water percentage are not the same thing.

Drinking more water doesn’t automatically mean your body water percentage will improve. Body water percentage reflects how much water your body is actually holding at a cellular level.

Muscle holds more water than fat. Processed foods, low protein intake, and poor mineral balance can all affect how well your body retains hydration.

And water doesn’t only come from a bottle. Fruits and vegetables contribute significantly to hydration, especially foods like cucumbers, berries, citrus, and leafy greens.

If your numbers look off, it may not be about “drinking more.” It might be about supporting your body differently.

Sometimes the stall isn’t fat. Sometimes it’s hydration.
