STOLTZ ONE GRANTED ESSENTIAL SERVICES PERMIT BY GOVERNMENT TO SUPPLY PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE) TO COMBAT CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) PANDEMIC

Stoltz One, a Cape Town-based company, has announced that it has been granted a permit to operate during South Africa’s 21-day national lockdown in a bid to supply the essential services sector with personal protective equipment (PPE), which is in high demand around the world. South Africa’s National Health Minister, Dr. Zweli Mkhize, confirmed on Sunday, 29 March 2020, that the latest coronavirus figures show a total of 1280 recorded cases of infection with 2 deaths. In impacted countries, coronavirus is placing medical care facilities under immense strain due to rising infection numbers. With thousands of COVID-19 tests being done and the number of confirmed coronavirus cases rising daily, PPE is running in short supply due to use not only by medical staff but also those working in places like grocery stores, petrol stations and pharmacies, who are critical to the running of the country during this difficult time. To strengthen the South African response to this global pandemic, Stoltz One can supply disposable PPE products like 3-ply masks, N95 masks, powder-free surgical gloves and medical protective coveralls, as well as other necessary equipment such as COVID-19 IgG/IgM Rapid Test Devices, non-contact forehead thermometers, mechanical ventilators and hand sanitisers with a 75% ethyl alcohol content. As expected, there is increased demand globally for PPE but despite extended lead times, Stoltz One and its employees are dedicated to working during this national lockdown period, so the company is confident that it can fulfil orders and is in close contact with suppliers to ensure that stock is available for continued supply. *Stoltz One has stated that current capacity for face mask production is 10 million units per week, with shipping and delivery dependent on order volumes. With face masks being the primary item in demand, bulk orders are recommended with orders are made as soon as possible to prevent delays. All shipments will be air-freighted and buyers will need to arrange with customs for clearance. Stoltz One will provide assistance with the latter, if needed.* Go to www.stoltzone.com to view a full list of available products with minimum order quantities.
