Ever feel like your body is an old phone that won’t hold a charge no matter how long you plug it in? That was me — exhausted, foggy, and wondering if this was just aging…
I remember waking up already tired. Just getting through my daily obligations felt like climbing a mountain and if I thought about what others expected from me I would have just curled into a fetal ball and shut down for good.
I didn’t even know where to start to feel better. Every supplement, every “fix” felt like more work and more overwhelm.
What nobody told me is that the problem wasn’t just my willpower — it was my mitochondria (the little power plants inside every cell).
As women move through menopause, mitochondria naturally lose efficiency. Add stress, poor sleep, and hormone decline — and it’s no wonder we feel like our battery never recharges.
The truth? If your cells aren’t making energy, you can’t either.
And the doctors don’t talk about it because it’s not considered an illness and there is no “cure” to sell.
Here’s one simple daily practice that supports healthier mitochondria (and it’s free):
Get 10 minutes of natural sunlight within an hour of waking up - yes simple, but also real…
☀️ Sunlight in the morning tells your body clock it’s time to turn energy production “on.”
☀️ It boosts mitochondrial function and helps regulate hormones and sleep cycles.
☀️ It’s like flipping the switch on your body’s natural power plant.
Of course, sunlight alone won’t undo years of fatigue. I learned the hard way that piecing it all together takes forever and leaves you more exhausted than when you started.
That’s why I use a simple 30-second light therapy routine that directly recharges my cells. It gave me the energy back to live life on my terms again.
I’ll be sharing more of the simple things that helped me recharge my energy — want me to DM you when I post the next one?

You don’t have to guess where to start.
