It's my favorite season and with it comes all pumpkin spice. And if you are a pumpkin spice lover like me and are a lactating mom, these pumpkin spice lactation balls are for you. I have struggled with my supply and this has been my go to snack. I have definitely experienced more output since incorporating them into my diet but please note that its been gradual not miraculous. But im sharing for all those mamas who struggle with supply like me and are wanting to try something yummy that could possibly give them a boost. Thank you Wansa Morgan for the initial inspiration;)
Below are the ingredients. Enjoy!
Ingredients
Wet Ingredients
• 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
• 1/2 cup peanut butter
• 1/4 cup honey
• 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
Dry Ingredients
• 1 1/2 cups rolled oats
• 1/2 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice
• 1/4 cup ground flaxseed (I only had whole)
• 1/4 cup chia seeds
• 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
• 1-2 tablespoons Brewer’s Yeast
• 1/4 moringa powder
Mix all your wet ingredients first in a bowl and then add your dry ingredients. Mix well and roll the dough into little 1 to 2 inch balls. Place them on cookie sheet and refrigerate for about 20 minutes before enjoying. You can store in the fridge or freezer to indulge later;)
