Wrapping up February with a flurry of exciting activities! Our lunch bunch enjoyed delicious bites at Jim & Nick's, while crafting snowmen brought out everyone's creativity. We played board games with sweet ice cream treats, and finished off the day with a bit of retail therapy. What a fun-filled month!

Week 4 of the Food Service Director Challenge was a resounding success! Chef crafted an irresistible crispy flatbread topped with tangy BBQ sauce, piled with tender grilled chicken, and thin-sliced red onion. It was smothered in melted Colby Jack cheese, finished with crispy bacon crumbles, and garnished with a fresh sprinkle of diced tomato. Our residents gave it five stars. Chris and Tammy couldn't resist sneaking theirs early! The red velvet cake was the perfect way to finish the meal!

What a wonderful week we've had! Our sweet resident Mariam and her friends filled us with joy as they sang for us—that was such a treat! We're already looking forward to their next performance. We soaked up the gorgeous weather with some lovely lunch bunch outings. We finished our week with fun happy hour hosted by Sara. Her twins will be arriving very soon!

Week 3 of the Manor Lake Food Service Director Challenge! Chef outdid himself today with Honey Dijon–brushed crescent roll dough layered with ham and Swiss, rolled and baked into golden, flaky pinwheels—served alongside fresh steamed broccoli tossed in peppered garlic Romano butter and a cool, creamy macaroni salad for the perfect warm-and-chilled comfort pairing.
