If I were to pick one reason most people struggle within an exercise program it would be… motivation.
Does the lack of motivation exists with you, it’s a question only you can answer.
Here’s a few tips to hopefully get and keep you pushing forward👇

1✨SET GOALS. Make it simple and progress to long term goal(s). Make them realistic and attainable. For example, a short term goal would be to walk 3 days a week.

2✨Make it fun!! Do stuff you enjoy doing. Mix it up to keep boredom at bay unless you prefer doing the same thing day in day out. Nothin’ wrong with that. No judgement here! The idea here is to stay motivated 🥰✨💪

3✨Develop a habit and chunk all the excuses. (Time/work/kids etc.. )
Schedule your workout like you would an important event or Dr appt. You get it 😉

4✨Keep a journal. Record what you did and how you felt. If you didn’t feel like working out but did it anyway — GIVE YOURSELF A BIG HUG 🤗

5✨Find a committed workout partner. Hang with people who are after the same thing you are.

6✨Reward yourself. I used to put a dollar in a jar every time I ran those 3 miles. At the end of the month I bought a new pair of sneakers or tights or whatever.

7✨Listen to your favorite music🎶🎼🎵🎧🥁

8✨Be flexible and don’t be so hard on yourself if you truly need to take some time off. We all have those days, even yours truly 🥰

Yoga sculpting has its own rhythm when it comes to lifting heavy enough. It’s not about maxing out like in traditional strength training, but about finding that sweet spot where your muscles shake, your breath deepens, all while staying focused holding on to that good form ✅✨🙏

ONCE UPON A TIME....

Hey ya’ll. This page is about Health, Fitness and Nutrition.

I became super motivated to workout in 1981 when my Uncle Eric told me I was going downhill at 26 years old because I became winded running around the yard with the kids. So, I set out to do something about it. I was a stay at home mom of 3 small kids and started working out the very next day in my living room to an exercise show on TV. It became a 5:30am morning ritual and the more I stuck with it the better I felt. I needed an outlet besides watching soap operas, Drinking Dr Peppers and smoking 2 packs of ci******es a day. It didn’t take long to ditch all that! I started incorporating my kids for my weight training. Hopped into bodybuilding competitions in 1986 and hung up my posing suit in 1993 with 17 bodybuilding titles. What a trip!

After 35 plus years in fitness, a Certified Personal Trainer through National Academy of Sports Medicine, a 7 year veteran of competitive bodybuilding and a fitness model I came to the conclusion that I have a lot to share with those interested in fitness and those wanting to embark on a fitness journey. So, I wrote a book “GO ASK DEBBIE, HEALTH AND FITNESS TIPS FROM A SEASONED EXPERT. You can grab a copy on Amazon and here’s the link: https://www.amazon.com/Go-Ask-Debbie-Fitness-Seasoned/dp/1532037929/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1541190235&sr=8-1&keywords=Go+Ask+Debbie

I am teaching this content to hopefully make it an easier path for those wanting to start a fitness journey and learn how to eat clean through my nutrition guidelines. I learned everything the hard way and all I really had was motivation and a deep desire to change my health and stay on track. And I did. And I am.
