Today is the first day of
"Raw for the Summer"🍏🍋🍅🥭🍉
Our featured recipe is Kale Salad! Each week we will share one, two or three recipes to help you stay on track, thismay be a juice, a smoothie or like today a delicious salad. Starting raw can be a challenge for many, but keeping it simple is key. Enjoy!
2 bunches organic kale
3 scallions (chopped)
3-4 garlic cloves (minced)
1-2 t onion powder
1-2 t garlic powder
2 t smoked paprika
1 t salt (optional)
1/2 c fresh lemon juice
1/4 c liquid amino (soy or coconut)
1/2 c Extra Virgin Olive Oil
2 T pinenuts
2 T h**pseeds
1 T nutritional yeast (optional)
Wash kale, remove stems and break into desired size (I like to cut mine small)
In large mixing bowl Add all remaining ingredients. Massage kale until it has reduced in size. Let sit for approximately 1 hour for flavors to mend. Enjoy!
