This page was created to offer information about mental health and mental illness as a means to increase awareness. Some of the information will include thoughtful original posts, informative articles and videos from various media sources as well as other mental health advocacy organizations. NaviPsych offers mental health education workshops, seminars and support groups that cover an array of topics such as recognizing the mental health language, the mental health help seeking process, coping after the diagnosis and more. The goal is to empower the audience to actively address mental health disturbances and crises with confidence, care and compassion. For the psychology undergraduate and early career psychology professionals, NaviPsych offers specialized personal and professional development coaching that focuses on identifying an individual's skills and interests to help them navigate the broad field of psychology as a means of narrowing their focus on what comes naturally to the individual. NaviPsych will use technology and media as a means of engaging the general public
in innovative yet practical methods of practicing mental wellness on a regular basis.

We’re already behind the speed of sweeping federal funding cuts and firings of America. federal employees, including those at SAMHSA. Don’t wait until the worst comes and don’t spend time theorizing the reasons why this is happening. Let’s use this tool to and out digital presence to flood social media platforms with what’s happening in real time. SAMHSA funds the majority of mental health grants that states use for prevention and intervention programs. States cannot afford these losses! Contact your senators and congress people. Contact state legislators to find out what their contingency plans are WHEN more cuts happen. This is a matter of life and death for ALL who need these services.
