To the mamas who breastfed before us…
The ones who fed in the shadows so we could feed in the light.
The ones who heard the whispers, the stares, the “shouldn’t you…” and the “isn’t he too old…” and kept going anyway.
The ones who shared their wisdom when we were fumbling in the dark, cracked and tired and wondering if we could keep going.
The ones who fought to normalize what was always normal.
Because of you, more of us feel brave enough to feed our babies openly.
Because of you, more of us trust our instincts instead of the noise.
Because of you, more of us are raising children who see breastfeeding as nothing but human and good.
To every mama who carried this before us, thank you.
We see you. We honor you. We keep feeding because of you. We promise to keep fighting ❤️
