Remember newborns need help monitoring their temperature. Always assume if youbare cold baby is cold. For a well baby, blue hands and feet are a sign they are cold. If you are hot, assume they are hot! This is a guide as to clothing based on temperature.

Birth rarely goes exactly to plan. One of my clients changed hospitals for personal reasons and forgot to let me know.
I rushed across town and made it just in time. When I walked in, she threw her arms around me mid-contraction and we both ended up laughing before the next one hit.
Moments like that remind me why support matters — sometimes you just need a familiar face in the room.
