I’ve been thinking a lot lately about how I tend to keep everything inside. For the longest time, I thought silence was my safe space—even if it meant bottling up emotions that needed to be expressed. But I’ve come to realize that holding it all in isn’t as healthy as it once seemed.
It’s scary to let others see the parts of me that I usually hide away, but maybe vulnerability isn’t a weakness after all—it could be the first step toward healing and true connection. I’m slowly learning that sharing what I feel might lighten the load and help me grow.
If you’re also struggling with keeping things inside, just know you’re not alone. Sometimes, the bravest thing we can do is open up, even if it feels uncomfortable. Here’s to taking small steps toward being more honest with ourselves and with those who care about us.
