General information
The Missionaries of the Poor (MOP) is an international religious order of priest and brothers of the Catholic Church, founded in 1981 by Father Ho Lung in Kingston, Jamaica. MOP is dedicated to serving the homeless, sick and abandoned in many parts of the world, including Jamaica, Haiti, Philippines, India and Uganda, to name a few. They offer their services free of charge joyfully to the least of our brothers and sisters. MOP support themselves with a music ministry (by way of putting on concerts) and through the generous support of donors and volunteers.
