My Life Journey
Compassionate Humanistic Psychotherapist in the Atlanta area. La'Quanda is an accomplished business owner and former Medical Doctor for the Armed Forces. She is committed to providing quality emotional, mental, behavioral, and holistic healing options to the under-served populations of Atlanta and surrounding counties. She delivers a powerful message each time she opens the world to her essence in public speeches. Her practice is located in Lithia Springs, Ga and she only accepts therapists, life coaches, and behavioral health providers who are as passionate about their work as she is. This is rare but possible so that she continue to build and aid in the personal and professional development of all those who are a part of her network.
Having seen and overcome lots of adversity in her personal and professional life, she takes a very curious and insightful approach in the same space for all of those clients she serves in all capacities. Taking the traditional one size fit all approach has never been something she has believed in doing and for this reason, she mastered all of systems theory in her graduate program. She feels that although empirical, or evidence based practices and and can be helpful for most, it doesn’t mean some people will not benefit from those same modalities and still benefit from therapy in non traditional ways. Essentially, therapy outcomes is an area she is committed to continuing to measure as a scientist practitioner. She challenges all therapist and mental health practitioners to think outside of the box, trust your gut, and allow the clients to guide the practitioner into their life experiences for the most comprehensive treatment. Assumptions are what kills true efficacy. One is never to assume anything and to always remain curious. This is what has led to her great success as a practitioner.
“We are all human and on this continuum of evolution for personal and spiritual growth, and maturation, one can never cease to learn more about self or the world we are a part of.”
