September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month. Ask your doctor about prostate cancer screening at age 50 if you're at average risk for cancer, at age 45 if you're a Black man and at age 40 if you have a family history. Wellstar Gastroenterology recently hosted its first-ever Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) Bootcamp, bringing together 46 team members from GI clinics and endoscopy centers across Wellstar. The event gave participants the opportunity to strengthen their knowledge and skills while learning from keynote speaker Dr. Ahmed Messallam. This inaugural bootcamp reflects Wellstar’s commitment to advancing clinical expertise and supporting our teams in delivering the highest level of care for our patients.
