We are living in an era where the term “Narcissist” is thrown around constantly. But here is the truth that could change the way you look at your marriage:
Most of the behaviors that feel like Narcissism are actually symptoms of Emotional Immaturity.

• Narcissism is a deep-seated personality trait that is notoriously difficult to change. It often leaves you feeling hopeless and trapped.
• Emotional Immaturity is a developmental lag. It’s a failure to learn how to handle big emotions, take accountability, or practice empathy.
The Good News: You can’t “fix” a narcissist, but an emotionally immature person can grow.
When you stop labeling him as “malicious” and start seeing the “missing skills,” you move from a place of resentment to a place of clarity. It doesn’t excuse the behavior, but it gives you a roadmap for what happens next.
Have you been stuck in the ‘Narcissist’ rabbit hole? Click the link in profile for Change the Odds podcast on how to grow emotionally.
