Members of our Breastfeeding Friendly - NY, Cayuga County team had a great time connecting and learning at the Breastfeeding Chestfeeding and Lactation Friendly New York (BFFNY) Conference this week!

BFFNY is working to help support breastfeeding individuals by sharing information and assisting organizations and businesses with creating lactation spaces.

We are excited to share that with funds through our Breastfeeding Friendly - New York grant, we were able to assist Cayuga County Jail in creating a lactation room for staff use.

This program seeks to improve breastfeeding rates in our state through assisting community spaces and places of employment with creating safe lactation spaces. If you are interested in creating a lactation space, please reach out to us at: adickman@cayugahealthnetwork.org.
