Guess what today is! It's hump day! I will refrain from using the whoop whoop in the commercials, but I will celebrate it with camel dental facts!

Did you know the camel has 22 milk teeth and 34 permanent teeth. It is different to other ruminants in having two front teeth in the upper jaw. Camels also have a pair of canine (dog teeth) in both the upper and lower jaws which are used to crush woody plants for food.

The first pair of permanent cheek teeth are separate from the other teeth and are dark in color.

Now how many of you read the "whoop whoop" in the camel's voice from the commercial?

As we drag back to work from an extended Labor Day weekend, I am sure some of us would use dental floss to build a rope to climb out of our office and escape from work! Sound crazy? It's been done before! In 1994, a West Virginia prison inmate braided dental floss into a rope, scaled the wall, and escaped! We suggest that you use it to clean the 35% of your teeth’s surfaces that you are missing, when brushing only, rather than to escape from any prisons! (better yet, just don’t go to prison, ok?)

I'd like to welcome everybody new to our page! It hasnt been active but I'm going to change that.
