Cayuga County Highland Search and Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit organization of trained community volunteers dedicated to assisting local and state law enforcement and Department of Environmental Conservation in locating missing persons. This organization utilizes both grid members and K9 members and is dedicated to providing professionally trained volunteers and highly trained K9s to ensure the best possible resources to those we serve.

Oswego County SAR teammates and SAR members from Onondaga, Cayuga, Oneida, Monroe, and Saratoga counties volunteered to help people still affected by the February lake effect snow storm. They were briefed this morning at the County Emergency Management Office in Fulton. They will be helping people who asked for snow removal assistance through the Oswego County call centers.
