Yesterday, Governor Mills and the State of Maine announced new information regarding who will be eligible to receive COVID-19 vaccines. A new schedule has been put out that outlines the following:

March 3rd: Eligibility expands to those 60 and older
April: Eligibility expands to those age 50 and older
May: Eligibility expands to those age 40 and older
June: Eligibility expands to those age 30 and older
July: Eligibility expands to those ages 29 and younger. This will include children once a vaccine has been authorized for them.

As of 02/10/2021, the CDC has updated their recommendations to now say that "Fully vaccinated persons who meet criteria will no longer be required to quarantine following an exposure to someone with COVID-19". Please note that this guideline only applies to those who have received either the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines. Those who have been fully vaccinated are still expected to wear masks and social distance.
