Memorial Day isn’t about a long weekend.
It’s about sacrifice.
It’s about courage.
It’s about honoring the men and women who gave their lives so we could live ours in freedom.

Today, we remember the fallen, not just in words, but in gratitude.
Take a moment today to reflect, remember, and honor.

Our office is closed today in observance of Memorial Day.
We will reopen tomorrow and resume normal hours.

Over the weekend, Tiffany, Director of Children’s Behavioral Health Home, and Maddie, Care Coordinator in our Children’s Behavioral Health program, proudly represented AngleZ as we were honored by the United Pentecostal Church for the work we do serving children and families in our community.

We were humbled to stand alongside so many dedicated individuals being recognized, including police officers, healthcare workers, political leaders, and other community changemakers.

At AngleZ, supporting children and helping families navigate challenges with compassion, advocacy, and care is at the heart of everything we do. We are incredibly grateful for this recognition and thankful for the opportunity to continue making a difference in the lives of those we serve.

Last night, Annalee and Shelly had the privilege of attending and sponsoring the CARA auction, which benefits the Capital Area Recreation Association sports fields for kids!

At AngleZ, we genuinely care about the communities we serve and are proud to support CARA and the incredible opportunities they provide for local youth through sports, teamwork, and community connection. We’re grateful to be part of a community that continues to invest in its kids and their future.

🌟EMPLOYEE HIGHLIGHT 🌟

Meet Wayne!

Wayne has been with ABHS for a total of 9 years! He first worked in the Daily Living Skills program and has been a Peer Support Specialist with us for the past 4 years. He values the strong sense of family and teamwork here at AngleZ. He shows up every day ready to support others as they navigate the challenges of everyday life— offering understanding, encouragement, and a perspective shaped by his own experiences.

Wayne’s passion for this work is deeply personal. After the loss of his daughter, he found purpose in helping others through difficult seasons—just as others once supported him and his family. That compassion and empathy are at the heart of everything he does.

His impact doesn’t go unnoticed by those around him. Teammates describe Wayne as someone who consistently goes above and beyond for members, always willing to meet people where they are. He’s known for being kind, selfless, and thoughtful, as well as a dedicated, hardworking team member who supports not only his clients but his colleagues, too. With years of experience and a great sense of humor, Wayne brings both value and positivity to the team every day.

When he’s not working, you can find Wayne enjoying PC games like Dragon Quest and Hero Wars, watching movies and TV, or catching a game—he’s a fan of baseball, hockey, football, and basketball. He also loves spending time outdoors hunting, fishing, and walking.

We’re grateful to have Wayne as part of our team and the care he brings to those we serve every day.

We love meeting our clients where they feel most comfortable!

Recently, one of our care coordinators met with a client at Lithgow Library- a space that’s not only beautiful, but welcoming, peaceful, and rooted in our community.

Care coordination (also known as case management) is all about walking alongside individuals as they navigate services, set goals, and access the support they need. And sometimes, the best conversations don’t happen in an office, they happen in places like this.

We’re grateful for spaces like Lithgow Library that allow connection, growth, and support to happen naturally.

Today, Caitlyn and Dannielle had the opportunity to represent AngleZ Behavioral Health Services at the HOPE Conference!

Hosted by Maine CCSM, the HOPE Conference brings together providers, advocates, and community members committed to supporting recovery and strengthening behavioral health services across Maine.

We loved connecting with so many passionate individuals and organizations doing meaningful work in this space. At our table, we shared information about our Opioid Health Home program, Medication Management services, Peer Support program, and Family Recovery Skills program, along with resources from our valued partner, Sky Recovery Homes.

To spread a little extra encouragement, we gave away recovery-themed wristbands with uplifting quotes, along with sunglasses, canvas bags, and stickers which are small reminders that hope and recovery are always within reach.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by to connect with us. We’re grateful to be part of such a dedicated and inspiring community. 💜

We loved putting together this beach day giveaway for Nurses Week 💜

This beach bag that is filled with beach towels, snacks, SPF, a portable fan, Alani drinks, an AngleZ tumbler, and more was donated to the Skowhegan Regional Chamber of Commerce to support their annual Nurses Week raffle in partnership with Redington Fairview General Hospital.

It’s our small way of saying thank you to the incredible nurses in our communities for everything they do!
